The Managing Director of Nu Instruments, Alan McCall, has travelled to Japan with the Prime Minister David Cameron and other industrialists. The trip is being undertaken to promote the expertise of the UK in relation to a number of key areas, including the decommissioning of the nuclear reactors damaged by the earthquake and tsunami of 2011. The Prime Minister is keen to stress to the Japanese government that the UK has plenty to offer and stated that he wanted to “load up an aeroplane full of business people” to “fly the flag for Britain”. Alan has taken part in meetings with senior figures in Japanese business and government, who were pleased to learn about the technology that Nu Instruments supplies. The involvement of Nu Instruments in the trade mission highlights the increased interest that the company is creating both within the UK and abroad.
