Nu instruments unveiled new facilities in the presence of Welsh and local government representatives, the local Member of Parliament and business leaders. The £400,000 investment, partly funded by the Welsh Government, has allowed Nu Instruments to build new design offices, demonstration and development labs as well as creating additional warehousing capacity in Wrexham.
Managing Director, Alan McCall said, “The demonstration labs will help us showcase our instruments’ full capabilities while the design and product development facilities will support our commitment to continuous product improvement. Having additional warehousing capacity is also vital to support our future expansion and growth.”
The visitors had a tour of the production and assembly area and also had the opportunity to find out from the scientists, how the different instruments were used in research in climate change, Earth Sciences and Material Science.
