Detection and characterisation of sub 10nm Au nanoparticles using Nu AttoM ES

 

Following the successful launch of the Nu AttoM ES capability in nanoparticle analysis at the 2016 Winter Plasma Conference, a paper describing a unique high sensitivity combined with fast data acquisition has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Analytical Atomic Spectrometry. A novel data processing technique is described along with the performance for reduced size detection limits, improved discrimination from ionic background and extended dynamic range for both particle size and particle number. This paper is also supported by four applications notes and various technical posters used at conferences during 2016 (see previous Nanoparticle News item).
