Sales Manager/Product Sales Leader

Nu Instruments is part of the Materials Analysis Division of Ametek, a US company and a leading manufacturer of advanced instrumentation. We are a business segment of Cameca, also an Ametek Company based in France. Cameca have been involved in the scientific instrumentation industry for material characterization for many years and we share a complementary product range.

 Mission Statement:

  • To ensure the Product Line meets present and future market opportunities to achieve Nu Instruments and Cameca’s objectives of Sales and Growth with profit.

Main Objectives of the role:

  • To lead the today activity of Nu Instruments and Cameca with the Product Line in term of Sales, Order Intake and profitability;
  • To ensure the development of a long term profitable business for Nu Instruments with the Product Line thus, enabling Nu Instruments to achieve with this Product Line the targeted figures of Order Intake, Revenues, Profit and Growth;
  • To contribute actively in the Product Line evolution (and its Long Term Roadmap) to ensure it remains up to the market standard and meet its expectations including in term of technology, performance, applications and prices/costs;
  • In cooperation with the Scientific Marketing Department Product Manager, to define the Product Line policies (Pricing policy, Warranty policy, Marketing approach and strategy, etc…) and ensure it is understood and applied by the Sales forces.
  • To define and manage the activity for Instrument Upgrades in close relation with the After Sales Service to ensure all business opportunities are followed.

Area and Scope of responsibilities:

  • Geographical area: Global and UK
  • Applications: All existing and future applications fields / markets in which the Product Line is aimed at serving
